One of the most popular anti-virus programs is AVAST, a free program that has a very good reputation for helping keep your computer free of infections.
There is no question there will be some users of LIDA in the future who will have this program installed on their computer. At least one of our Beta Test Team already has it.
This morning, I got a report from Gary in Detroit, who told me the following:
“My installation was blocked by Avast, but I disabled it temporarily to allow it to install. Meanwhile their team analyzed your app and approved it about an hour later. That means that others should be able to install it without being blocked by Avast.”
Not only is this a great report (THANKS, Gary!) but it also paves a bit of a smoother road for future LIDA installers. One small step at a time, we are honing LIDA into a smoothly-functioning program to organize and manage music libraries.
In a 1960’s or 70’s game show, the host might have said at this point, “Keep those calls and letters coming, folks!” but for here, I’ll just say, “Keep those Beta Test reports coming! Email or Forum, they are all valuable.”
